The goal of Soul Care Training is to equip individuals of the community of faith to embrace people (and themselves) in the midst of challenging life circumstances and build confidence to engage in meaningful and soul-shaping conversations which bring the hurting to a place of facing their current reality and making a godly response to that reality. This specialized training is for those who are willing to grasp the idea that soul care is not about fixing problems, but leading people to discern the Spirit of God's movement in their lives through both hardships and blessings.
Terry Ewing, founder of Plumbline Ministries, Inc., will teach the six 12-week units. Each unit covers a vital aspect of soul care ministry including biblical and psychological principles of counsel. One or more books for supplemental reading will be required per unit.
Plumbline now offers Soul Care classes on-site or as Video On Demand. Check to see which option is best for you.
With the on-site experience, you will get the opportunity to interact in a small group setting with Terry and your classmates. The ability to ask questions and to process information together is very beneficial. You will also enjoy the experience of the student led presentations during several of the units. Book discussions are also included in the on-site classes. The class meets on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30.
$325 per semester
If time and or distance is an issue to you being able to take Soul Care on site, you can now enjoy the same teaching at your own pace, at a time of your choice, and at any location! Plumbline now offers the entire 6 semesters to be viewed "on demand".
$250 per semester

Boundaries are unseen structures that protect us from harm and support healthy, productive lives. This class is a study based on biblical principles designed to help people learn how to determine what they are and are not responsible for; emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. Boundaries give you the freedom to walk as the loving, giving, fulfilled individual God created you to be.
Signs of Boundary Issues:

Workshops are one-day, intense, deep dives into focused topics designed to better equip us all to deal with some of the most rigorous issues facing us in our relationships.
Workshops are $75.00 per person or bring a friend and get two for $100.00!
If I asked you to name all of the things that you love, how long would it take you to name yourself?
Do you want more of Gods love?
Do you want to love others better?
Do you know that the way we love ourselves becomes our filter for loving ourselves and God?
Come join the discussion about what loving unconditionally looks like (beginning with yourself), how to recognize codependency, setting boundaries, maintaining healthy emotional investments, and finding your joyful identity.
Trust is a fundamental element of all healthy relationships. When trust is broken, so is the relationship.
From the boardroom to the bedroom, trust effects us all. It is not for the faint of heart. It is perhaps the most high-risk, high-reward endeavor we will pursue for it requires us to be vulnerable.
Whether you have experienced the pain of broken trust and want help learning how to trust again or you are the one who has broken the trust of another and want to learn how to heal and make amends, this workshop is for you!
We will explore the 3 phases of the trust recovery process (the Crisis phase, the Insight phase, and the Vision phase) and look at how each phase effects all the parties involved. Much like the grief process, this is not a linear progression but more of a fluid process. It is normal to move back and forth between the phases. We will also provide some very practical tools to help all the parties involved. For the party who broke the trust, we will look at how you can process your emotions while being able to engage with empathy to the other. For the other, we will help you find healthy ways to express yourself, to ask productive questions, and to learn how to trust yourself again.
In this one-day workshop, we will learn about the foundational tools taught at Plumbline. Some of those tools are Adding "Selfish" to Your Spiritual Vocabulary, Healthy Emotional Investments, Healthy Emotional Responses, Goals for Healthy Communication, and the Tool Flowchart (how all the tools work together!).
If you are new to counseling or someone who has been here before and would like a "refresher" on the tools this workshop is for you!
